Since I didn’t get a chance to hop on the computer until after 9:30pm I didn’t even consider working my way to 50 so instead I opted to go back into Arathi Basin for a few games. I was up to 62 marks and figured if things went well I would try and work my way to 90 to be able to afford the PvP Boots when I hit 70.
Things couldn’t have gone much worse. I only got four games in before I was fed up and called it a night.
I walked into a 5-cap in game one with the Horde at 1200 resources. I just sort of sat in the spawn waiting for it to end.
Games two and three were terrible as well, but had a few bright spots, namely in the form of a 49 Night Elf Druid named Muwatalli. He and I took and defended the Mines in both games with him healing and me dpsing anything and everything that dared show its face. We easily took on dual Warlock teams, Hunter / Shaman teams and even two Druids and a Mage who thought they could take me out. Muwatalli was great. He would sit stealthed and let them train their sights on me then pop out of stealth and heal me while Caspurr and I pwnd face. And we pwnd face hard. I was so impressed with his skills I felt compelled to post on the WoW forums thanking him. You can read it here:

/salute Muwatalli
We did lose both games and then I suffered through a fourth defeat before I called it a night. I think I’ll check it out again tonight but if we are getting steamrolled I’ll go back to leveling and worry about the 24 marks at a later date.
