55, Un’Goro Skipped and Felwood Questing

I finally made up my mind to simply skip Un’Goro since I was level 54 and three levels above where I was supposed to be in the leveling guide I use. Felwood is listed as 53-54 so by starting there at 54, the mobs still were easy enough to solo my way through and I was able to ensure I wasn’t going up against gray mobs.

I really didn’t spend much time playing last night because I wasn’t feeling well. I am chalking it up to allergies, but with vacation at the beach next week I’d rather err on the side of caution and go to bed early.

So all I did was the first half of the quests in Felwood, including the first Furbolg quest to hit unfriendly so I can travel through the cave into Winterspring later on. I also still think I should be able to skin Furbolgs. I also finished the Ooze collection quests and the first half of the Jaedenar quests. With turnins and rested experience these were enough to ding 55.

Tonight I will get back into Felwood, finish it off and move on to Winterspring. I know there are a few that relate to the Linkin quests in Un’Goro that I’ll have to skip, but I’m still two levels ahead of my guide and everything should be good. With luck I’ll ding 56 and maybe even 57.

On a side note, I have given up the quest for 60 by Friday. I’m not going to push myself.
