52, Alterac Valley, Tanaris, Searing Gorge and More Alterac Valley

I started the morning yesterday working on level 52. I was already half way there and pushing my way through the quests I had in Tanaris were almost enough to make my way over the top. In Tanaris I had to do the Silithid quests, and as I've stated before, I really dislike the Silithid. Two races really annoy me, Silithid and Aarakoa, I hope there are 100% less Aarakoa in Wrath of the Lich King.

My guide took me all the way back to Ironforge so I figured it would be a good time to go back into Alterac Valley and try and get my dragon. As with the other night, Alliance really owns the 51-60 Alterac Valley category. In most cases it is 40 Alliance to 15 - 20 Horde, pretty much a cake-walk. By my second game I remembered that there were some quests outside of the Alterac Valley cave (near Southshore) so I few on over. Sure enough, there were quests to capture a mine, capture a tower and capture a graveyard. I signed up for all three and easily completed them, and dinged 52 in the process.

I continued to do Alterac Valley for the majority of the day and on my 10th win got my dragon. Coincidentally, that same game, we managed to summon Ivus! I haven't seen Ivus in a game in probably over a year. There just isn't usually time to summon him anymore.

I also realized that I could be doing Alterac Valley quest turnins for reputation. I spent every game at the front lines long enough to get my bags loaded with turnin items before recalling back to turn them in. At the end of the day I racked up over 7000 reputation with Ironforge and 1500 each with the other capitals. I am almost Exalted with Ironforge.

Finally, I ended the night by making my way into Searing Gorge and doing a couple quests. Tomorrow I'll be spending a little more time in Alterac Valley to finish off the Ironforge reputation and then moving on to level 53 in Searing Gorge.
