49 Arathi Basin Take Two

After the previous night’s debacle of an Arathi Basin I figured it couldn’t be that bad again and queued up rather than working my way to 50. Bad idea.

Nine games, all losses. Nine Arathi Basin marks the hard way. I may be up to 71 total marks now, but I am pretty much done with the 49 bracket. Boy how I longed to be back in the 39 bracket where we won as many as we lost.

The only bright spot was Muwatalli again. He healed me amazingly well, at times while I was fighting four or five Horde at a time. I made sure to tell him about the thank you post I made on the forums. He seemed pleased that someone would take the time to do it, but he just doesn’t understand how rare it is for someone to heal in a Battleground, and to heal well.

The one thing I did take away with me was how powerful Intimidation is. So many times I would send in Caspurr and pop Intimidation and he would stun the Horde just long enough for me or someone else to get a shot in. For me it would be a Concussive Shot followed by a Serpent Sting and an Arcane Shot. For clothies, they’d be dead real fast. This is certainly one tip I have mastered and added to my repertoire.

I’m not sure where to go next, it’s either off to Hinterlands and quest my way to 50 or try a few more Arathi Basin games and see if my luck changes. It should be an easy decision, but we’ll have to wait and see.
