This is an offshot of my wildly popular Bzak's World (of Warcraft) blog that I started a while ago to follow the exploits of Bzak, a Dwarf Hunter on the PvE server Shadow Council.
Today I rolled a new Draenai Hunter named Powny on the PvP server Dark Iron. I chose Powny because it is a mix of Pony and Own and a little Pwn thrown in for good measure. It seemed to me to be the perfect name for a Draenai on a PvP server. They have hooves afterall. Also, Pwny was taken which was my first choice.
The alternate name I was going to use was Kyukyu (read QQ and think crying eyes for the forum virgins). I've saved this name as a level 1 in case I want to roll a Death Knight in Wrath of the Lich King.
This will mark the first time I've attempted to level a new Hunter. Bzak was my first toon ever on Shadow Council and I know my levelling choices were unorthodox because I was so new to the game itself. I have a lot more experience now and plan on working my way up the Beast Mastery tree once I hit level 10. More on that then.
As for now, I get to experience the Draenai starting zone. I've never been here before so the quests are all new and should provide a little excitement and newness to WoW.
It's also time to set some lofty (maybe) goals for where I want this toon to end up. I plan on workig my way up the Beastmastery tree all the way to 70. I hope to be 60 before I go away for vacation in late August and I hope to be 70 before Wrath of the Lich King is released. At 70 I would also like to be able to just grab the Season 2 Arena set. Finally, at 60 I want 1000 gold to be able to buy my Epic ground mount and at 70 I want another 1000 gold to be able to buy my Starter flying mount. After level 70 I want to quickly amass the 5000 gold for the Epic flying mount and then an additional 1600 gold for the Cenarion Expedition Hippogryph Epic flying mount. Again, some of these may be lofty, but I'm going to try my best to hit them all.
Stay tuned.
