35 to 36, Shimmering Flats and Dustwallow Marsh

Shimmering Flats is a great place to bang out a couple levels. The quests are tightly packed in together and can all be done just by doing one big circle around the zone. It’s all flat land too (it’s a salt flat that the Gnomes and Goblins race in) so nothing gets in the way when you are circling. I’ve got these quests down to a science too:

Saltstone Gazers and Crystalhides, then Scorpids, then Turtles and Saltstone Basilisks then finishing up with Scavengers all the while collecting Rocket Parts along the way. I dinged 35 about half way through.

Next up was Dustwallow Marsh, but not before grabbing the Flight Path in Gadgetzan and then flying there. I’ve never done any of the Dustwallow Marsh quests, so these were pretty new to me as well. All the quests took place in Theramore and included working on the Traitors and a “Propoganda War” and then finally killing Threshers for their oil to restart the lighthouse. I was surprised with the amount of experience I gained as I dinged 36 by the time I was done and prepared to head to Desolace.
