33 to 34, Southshore, the Alterac Mountains and Another Stranglethorn Vale Adventure

First off, Southshore sucks on a PvP server. There is some unwritten law that Horde must attack Southshore and that Alliance must attack Tarren Mill and that both sides must enact revenge for the other side’s transgressions against said towns. Of course, when I arrived, a 70 Orc Shaman was busy destroying everything in Southshore, including any low level Alliance that landed via Flightpath or arrived via road…including me. But maybe it’s because I took a potshot at him. I never claimed to be smart all the time.

So I took a break for a little while.

Back at it in Southshore I did the couple quests there, including killing more Merlocs and then headed into the Alterac Mountains to do a couple Syndicate quests and to tame a Mountain Lion for a new rank of Prowl. Stupidly I turned off Prowl and since the pet never used it I never learned the new skill…again, today is stupidity day apparently.

Next I made my way back down to Stranglethorn Vale to finish up some mastery quests before getting ready to head to the easiest quest hub in the game, Shimmering Flats. I easily dinged 34 half way through the mastery quests my guide listed.

Next up Shimmering Flats and the racetrack.
